The reliable Floyd Rose 1000, made of hardened steel combined with an oversized brass block, offers increased sustain and resonance while all tremolo springs are mechanically muted. It also features Seymour Duncan Black Winter pickups that provide merciless high-output passive humbucker tone for most frigid Black Metal, Death Metal, or any other extreme style…as brutal as the Scandinavian Winter.. The GC1.6FR Killertone has a set through construction with 25.5” scale, flame maple veneer over mahogany body, a fast, thin, comfortable mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard with 24 super-jumbo stainless steel frets with mini dots and Killtertone 12th fret inlay and Luminlay ‘glow in the dark’ side dots for easy stage use. Loaded with Solar 18:1 locking tuners, black matte hardware, locking nut, 2 volume knobs (push-pull w/ series/ parallel) and 3-way toggle pickup switching. This Killertone guitar with full access neck is available in flame black gloss finish.
