Solar Guitars is proud to announce a new Solar Signature Artist, Jonas Wolf from the world renown eclectic Swiss folk metal band, Eluveitie. Aptly coined the “Wolfmaster”, there are two V-Type models available now on the company’s website in vintage white and metallic purple. Solar Guitars is expanding its new CHOP SHOP production of guitars finished and assembled at the company’s main facility in Spain. The 2nd release is aptly name “PYRO” since the finish is created by the ancient art of torching hardwood (Shou Sugi Ban) to achieve greater strength and stunning visual effects from the wood grain. The process is extensive; the body and headstock are meticulously burned by hand, then the logo is applied with actual fire heated brand stamp. After the burning phase, the body and headstock are sanded clean and poly sealer coats are applied. Once dry, assembly commences with the roasted maple 3-piece neck fitted with Solar locking tuners, Floyd Rose installation, pickups, electronics wiring and copper shielding, strings strung up and final set-up by our experienced luthiers to be ready for top level professional stage or studio. MCAS Custom fitted ABS molded TSA flight-ready case is included along with a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed by Ola and the luthier that assembled each guitar.
Outside the walls of the Ancient City of Girona in Catalunya, Spain is Solar Guitars’ main facility and home of their new “CHOP SHOP” custom mod, finish and assembly shop. Extreme finishes & mods plus top-notch assembly and set-up are what this is all about… and, most important is our new specialty: truly violent finish processes using methods of custom manipulation that challenge the notions of what can be done to a wood-based instrument. The results are epic and ground-breaking.
Solar Guitars releases another addition to its European Master Series with the new AC6N RAW. The Natural Raw Swamp Ash finish shows off this new carved top shape with amazing grain from select wood materials. Ola adds, “Our already sleek design becomes even sleeker! The AC is one of the most comfortable guitars I’ve played. And it’s incredibly fast!”.

This model, another totally new shape called Type AC, is visually striking at first glance with its elegantly carved top in Blood Red Raw Swamp Ash finish. The company again offers players ‘Best in Class’ quality and appointments.
After endless drawings and sleepless nights, the extremely focused and motivated Solar Guitar product team succeeded to give birth to this violent but elegant and unique looking Type X guitar that Ola makes his own.
