I joined Raised by Owls in 2016. We’ve been reasonably successful in our little corner of Metal, playing all over Britain. We started out well, winning our regional Metal 2 the Masses competition. As a result, we got to play Bloodstock festival. Following from that we have played it another 2 times, the last being a main stage slot. Probably our greatest feat so far.
Since being with band I’ve played with various guitars, from PRS to Jackson. I’ve loved my time with all of them, but I have always felt like I wanted something else. I could never really put my finger on it. But, as we sat down to record out latest album, I ended up using my fellow band mates guitar. A Solar, a lovely A2 model with and evertune system. I’d never played on one before, I had seen Alex using it, but that’s about it. As soon as I sat down and started playing I knew I was going to be spending some money. It completely won me over, the feel, the comfort l, the look. Ive not looked back since and currently own 3 guitars, I’m pretty sure there will be more to follow ( just don’t tell the wife )
