Formed in 2007, Midnight Odyssey is an one-man project started by Dis Pater in Brisbane, Australia. After two demos, Midnight Odyssey was signed to Italian label I,Voidhanger Records and released the monumental Funerals from the Astral Sphere. Several albums and splits later, including last year’s Biolume Part 3 – A Fullmoon Madness, Midnight Odyssey has risen to become one of the world’s pinnacle cosmic and atmospheric black metal bands. Last year saw Midnight Odyssey perform their first ever live shows, and have just wrapped up their second European tour last week. Dis Pater has made guest appearances on several albums, including Cattle Decapitation’s last two records, the last Kawir record and Coldborn’s last album.
