Mathieu Roy-Lortie – AETERNAM / FROM DYING SUNS Featured Artists

Mathieu started playing guitar at Age 9. From the very beginning, he showed lot of potential and never stopped practicing and improving. Throughout the years, Mathieu performed with many different bands across Canada, USA and Europe. In 2011, he graduated from University Laval in Classical Guitar (Interpretation). This academic knowledge has proven to be a useful tool for composition and live performance. Throughout the years, he played with various bands such as Never More Than Less, The Unplugged Band and Jupiter’s Red Eye. He is currently a core member of From Dying Suns (https://www.facebook.com/fromdyingsuns) and has recently joined Aeternam as Lead guitarist.

From their begining in 2007 in Quebec city, Aeternam has been known for their unique and authentic sound, combining extreme and epic riffs with ethnic melodic influences, making a perfect blend of harmony and brutality.
