Kirk Windstein has been around the New Orleans Music scene since 1989. He has played in a number of bands, most notably Crowbar and Down. He has toured the world extensively for the last 30 years. He is currently working on Crowbars 12th LP. He just did his first solo album this year (2020). He is a founding member of the supergroup Down in which he started in 1991 and put out 4 records with them. He left Down in 2013 to focus on Crowbar and has recently rejoined Down for the 25th anniversary of their classic first album NOLA.
