Richard Svärd is a swedish bass player best known for being a member of the melodic rock band Art Nation. A versatile bassist who love to play anything from Thrash metal to more soft rock, Richard have also played with many smaller Gothenburg bands throughout the years. He is also playing with the band Ominum.
“I’ve been playing bass since i was a ten year old something. Now it’s a passion of mine and im on a journey to be able to make a career out of it as well, together with my bandmates in Art Nation. Going up on stage, headbanging och just giving your best out there is one the best experiences in my opinion.”
Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, Art Nation is a rising force in modern melodic hard rock. Founded in 2014 by Alexander Strandell and Christoffer Borg, the band has quickly gained acclaim for their captivating sound and
dynamic live performances. Richard joined Art Nation in the fall of 2017 as a full-time member and have been a member ever since.
